Marisha Doan found the nourishing practice of yoga 13 years ago and quickly discovered it to be the missing link to physical strength, power and grace as well as clarity of mind, health and healing. Her classes focus on breath work to connect the body, mind and spirit, challenging and sustained asana to develop stamina and stability, and attention to sensory perception to bring the whole self into the present moment. She also loves to bring the fire and thrill of deep abdominal work, arm balances and inversions to the practice to help her students extend their edges.
Marisha is certified RYT 200 with training from Ana Forrest through the Forrest Yoga Foundation Training and the Samadhi Yoga Center in Seattle, WA, under the guidance of Kathleen Hunt. In addition she has completed 2 years in the Forrest Yoga Mentorship Program with Forrest Yoga Guardian Colleen Millen. Marisha has also assisted inspirational yoga teachers such as Ana Forrest, Les Leventhal, Howard Cohn, and Kristin Lovelace.
