Drawing from her passion for health and wellness on a spiritual, emotional, and physical level, Alise leads vinyasa-based classes that emphasize breath, alignment, and self-exploration. Coming from an overworked science career in 2011, Alise fell in love with the ability to experience and share in stillness through yoga. Yoga as more than Asana is a foundation for her practice and teaching. With a focus on intentional alignment and the subtle body, along with creative sequencing, Alise encourages each student to find connection to the strength and subtleties they can take with them through their practice both on and off the mat.Alise received her first 200-hour certification in Vinyasa Yoga in 2014 and has since completed an additional training studying under Annie Carpenter. She relocated to San Francisco in July of 2017 to continue her yoga education.
