Emily’s wish is for your yoga practice to bolster a lifetime of well-being. She believes that practice should be choice-driven, sustainable, and transferable to your daily life. She pairs intentional, exploratory movement with nourishing, supported stillness. She cultivates a welcoming, meditative, yet light-hearted space for your practice. Emily came to yoga in 2004 for healing from warped body image and anxiety/depression. The practice helped Emily navigate undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering and nine years working in energy efficiency technology. In 2017, she committed to sharing the powerful tools of yoga. She has completed Yoga Tree’s 200-hour teacher training and is working toward her 500-hour level. She is honored to study with Estee Fletter and continues to assist her classes. Emily also teaches prenatal and postnatal yoga as a graduate of Jane Austin’s Mama Tree training.
