Liya Garber (Charan Kamal Kaur) offers traditional kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. The Yogic practice consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood. Every class is unique and focuses on a specific kriya. A kriya is a series of postures, breath, and sound that work toward a specific outcome. Liya creates a heart-filled, fun, joyful way to calm the mind and align with one's inner truth. She brings a unique and special gift of laughter and fun to every class. Her yoga journey began in the heart of New York City where she lived a fast paced life as a business executive. As the stress of this life began to affect her health, Liya turned to yoga and began to heal. The results were undeniable and she has been on a dedicated path of self healing and discovery ever since. She began her deep esoteric Kabbalah studies in Los Piramidas Del Ka, a school in Guatemala where she studied the sacred tree of life and dream work. She is certified in both Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga and is a registered with the KRI (Kundalini Research Institute). She is grateful to her teachers Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa & Guru Shabad Singh Khalsa (the founders of Golden Bridge Yoga) with whom she studied extensively in India.
