Max Kopeikin, RYT-500/ERYT-200, is a crazy monkey who has been dancing on tables since he was three. He is a certified Hatha Yoga and level 2 AcroYoga teacher. He is a yoga nerd with a passion for alignment. His Hatha classes are alignment-centered and playful. His AcroYoga classes combine the wisdom and alignment of yoga, the fieriness and playfulness of acrobatics, and the healing touch of Thai massage. There is also a large component of partner yoga -- perfect for people new to the practice or seasoned AcroYogis and AcroYoginis. Max has practiced and studied various forms of yoga over his years of practice including Iyengar, Jivamukti, Gentle Hatha, Anusara, and AcroYoga. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Dance/Movement Therapy and a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Expressive Arts Therapy. Max has dedicated the past few years on working with trauma from a yoga-centered perspective and teaching trauma-informed yoga teacher trainings. He is also in the process of becoming a certified Feldenkrais Method practitioner. Max began his yoga and AcroYoga teaching in Barcelona, and continues to travel and teach in Europe and around the world.
