Sara draws from her dance and yoga background to create intelligently sequenced classes that gracefully synchronize breath and asana movement and emphasize alignment. She believes that through these key elements, a student is able to explore each pose in depth, allowing it to reach its full potential. Her classes challenge you physically and push you to your edge in a slow and subtle way. Through a variety of asana poses, breath work, and meditation she takes you on a journey that establishes a foundation for building strength, flexibility, and balance in your practice, thereby awakening your spirit both on and off the mat. In return she asks that you open yourself to the experience and embrace every sensation that arises.Sara has studied yoga in depth with Maritza, John Friend, Nikki Estrada, Sean Corn, Maty Ezraty, Rod Stryker and Ana Forrest. Her current teachings are most inspired and influenced by Ana Forrest. It is through Forrest yoga that Sara has discovered her true, authentic teacher.
