The feeling of euphoria is still visceral two days after our graduation ceremony on Sunday. With all the floor pounding and cheering, hugging and celebrating, gratitude and good-byes, it was all one big enchilada of emotion.
So, let’s start with gratitude. Thank you first to Tim and Tara Dale for creating this wonderful community of Yoga Tree, with roots so deep and wide, roots that continue to expand with beautiful new branches like the Potrero studio, which I have taken classes in, and the newest Richmond studio, which I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting. Thank you for creating this teacher training program that continues to flourish, with options to accommodate almost anyone’s schedule.
Thank you to Yvonne and Katie for facilitating the entire 200-hour, multi-month schedule of classes, the curriculum and graduation. Thank you to lead teacher Darren Main for your wisdom, humor, guidance and all the resources you’ve provided us with in the last few weeks.
Thank you to Harvey, Sean, Lauren, Mark and all the other teachers who graced our classes with your presence and expertise. As Jason said on Sunday, we are grateful for all the wisdom you’ve imparted.
So, as we come to this crossroads – the end of our 200-hour training and the beginning of whatever lies ahead for each of us – we stand on the threshold of a new journey. Some of us are going right into more training; some are taking the leap into teaching; and some of us are just standing still and letting everything we’ve learned absorb and integrate before moving on to whatever evolves next on our paths. It’s all perfect, based on whatever inspires us.
I look forward to more classes and workshops at Yoga Tree, hopefully starting to teach in the next few months, and possibly more training in the next few years. I also look forward to monthly gatherings with our class as we continue to connect and support each other. I love you and miss you all!!
