About The Teachers & Performers:
Janet Stone’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Janet blends the alchemy of her own practice with decades of studentship. She aspires not to teach but to allow the practice to emanate from her, letting awareness blend with movement and breath. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more. For more janetstoneyoga.com
Jason Bowman is a writer and yoga teacher in San Francisco. Jason is well known for his ability to be thorough while maintaining a light-hearted sense of humor. His classes encourage a personal examination of the space between theory and direct experience and his love for the practice shines through in his ability to teach with a concrete yet creative voice. Jason has a keen eye for detail and his classes are consistently fun and challenging while always in tune with the underlying internal inquiry that makes the practice so beautiful.
Eric Monkhouse has been DJing for over 25 years and uses this passion to offer awe inspiring mixes of raw emotion that you’ll never hear anywhere else. He has been deeply affected by the radical practices of the Indian mystic Osho and the fluid yoga innovations of Shiva Rea.
Jazz Mafia has been taking over the Bay Area since it’s inception 10 years ago. Bands like the Jazz Mafia Symphony, Realistic Orchestra, the Shotgun Wedding Quintet and many more have been putting San Francisco back on the map as one of the most important music scenes in the country.
DJ Dragonfly is one of the West Coast’s notable and sought after DJs in the yoga and conscious movement scene. Dragonfly has supported and performed with some of yoga’s most beloved teachers and artists at festivals, conferences and studios across the country. As a consummate crate-digger his days are spent down the rabbit-holes of sound, constantly discovering emerging talent and the hidden gems of sonic possibility. With an ear for the exotic and a background in yoga and movement arts, his approach is through the emotive keyhole of the psyche…while unlocking the heart of community.
Eva Monova Rose’s passion for teaching allows her students to experience the sweetness and ease of the practice while creating safe and transformational environment. Eva’s unique way of interweaving dance, rhythm, breath and movement gives her students an opportunity to enjoy all aspects of the practice. She studied Egyptian dance and easily blends the yoga and dance poses into a fluid and dynamic movement. Eva teaches in an approach that emphasizes students’ personal experience allowing them to work on their own pace. Her Kundalini classes are uplifting, grounding, gentle and yet challenging infused with sound, meditative experience, and breath awareness.
